Fellow DACH Victorianists Irmtraud Huber, Julia Ditter, Heidi Liedke, and Sophia Jochem have an exciting announcement to share with you concerning Event 2024, the flightless conference co-hosted together with NAVSA, BAVS, and AVSA that will give us the chance see each other in person next year:
The call for papers for Event 2024 is now online.
Event 2024 is an experiment in sustainable global conferencing, including monthly Zoom events and the asynchronous discussion of uploaded papers on COVE Conferences. In-person hub events in September include Konstanz (10-11 September 2024) and Frankfurt (17-18 September 2024). For more details and how to take part, please see the full CfP here.
Please find the programme for the Konstanz event below.
DACH Victorianists is a network that brings together scholars from the “D-A-CH” region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) whose research and teaching focus on Victorian literature and culture. It offers a forum for academics of all career stages to present and discuss research and methodologies in Victorian studies. DACH Victorianists hosts bi-annual workshops, which provide insights insight into PhD, postdoc, and third-party funded projects as well as current publishing activities.
