We would like to advertise this year’s conference: 'MADS 2024: Global
Encounters‘. The conference takes place in Berlin at the Centre for British Studies, HU Berlin, from 28-29 September 2024. We invite proposals for 15 to 20-minute papers that explore the movements of decadence, aestheticism and modernism in relation to the
conference theme. You can find the full CfP below.
Please submit your abstracts of no more than 250 words + a short bio via email to the organisers. The deadline for the proposals is 2 June 2024.
We are also happy to announce Prof Rebecca Beasley (University of Oxford) agreed to join us in Berlin as our keynote speaker.
